So THIS has to be the BEST Valentine EVER given... (Sorry Jim but I will say my crate is awesome) it is an entire truck love note... Those post its say things on them "I love you" ":-)" "there is something great in here for you" and on and on... I had so much fu imagining what my lucky neighbor was getting for today... everything from the risque to the cutesy (and seeing as I am me I was hoping for cutesy)
So in the spirit of a surprise gift I have one for one of my lucky readers...
It is NO secret that Valentine's day is my favorite holiday so - I want to spoil one of you! To enter all you have to do is leave me a comment with a suggestion for a topic for me to blog about - I used to actually blog and not just take photos, I want to get back in the habit of writing but I have no ideas so leave me an idea and you get an entry - easy enough?
IF you win I will fill a "Valentine" with presents for you - specific to you (so leave a link to your blog so I can read it to get ideas)
I will take entries until Friday the 19th (the day of Dobby's next vet appointment - could you also send a prayer my little man's way?)

I am new to your blog so I'm not sure what you normally blog about but I would love to see a post about what your faith/belief system means to you and how it affects your life. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?
I love hearing about readers I didn't even know I have :-) All of your pictures look really interesting, and make me think of the Object History course I'm taking this semester. I think a blog where you take a picture of an item/food/thing on the street/family heirloom/whatever and then build a factual, funny, and thorough post on it. A blog like that could incorporate food, politics, crafts, anything and everything and catch a lot of eyes
It's so nice to read your writing again, I want to read more!
So, I suggest three things:
1. If Dobie were a superhero what would his superpower be? And his costume?
2. Take a picture of an everyday thing then write a post about that thing going on vacation. Send a postcard from wherever it went.
3. A thoughtful post about why you love taking pictures, how seeing the world through a lens helps you.
