Today was i think the first day that i was like there is nothing worth posting in my life - it is a sad day here at the clark-lachapelle house and i could find anything to smile over... Until i walked in on punkin happily stretching without a care in the world.

The idea of ME having a go to recipe is laughable! But I have one. Well technically it isn't MY recipe it is Stephanie's but I use it ALL the time and after telling Kath about it today it was in my head and THEN I went to Market Basket and yellow tomatoes were on sale -- how much of a sign was that? So here you go, Jim will walk home to a yummy smelling house and tomato soup waiting for him

They're baaaaaaaack. Today I was at Homegoods and noticed how very many retro toys they're were. A slide whistle? Heck that's from my grandparents era. How cool my nieces and nephews will get to enjoy them too.

I just love kids (boys - never seen a girl with one) walking around carrying their football shirts - they have the shoulders built right in... It is like a ghost with them maybe I should have stopped and asked to borrow it for Halloween.

You know that song "make new friends but keep the old?" yeah well in this case I am not keeping the old... These sneakers have seen me through a marathon walk countless 5 and 10ks and 2 triathlons (not to mention getting engaged - yup I was wearing these way back then) and their time is up - thanks to Oprah I got 50% off the new ones - and they came to a whopping $4.50... Cannot wait to see where they take me.
